blink-182 have just shared a brand-new single and video, ONE MORE TIME.
The title-track to the pop-punk legends’ long-awaited album ONE MORE TIME… (which is due out on October 20), the song hears Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker reflect on everything they’ve been through as a band and in their lives, with vocalist/guitarist Tom powerfully asking in the chorus: ‘Do I have to die to hear you miss me? / Do I have to die to hear you say goodbye?’
Yesterday, bassist/vocalist Mark said that he considered ONE MORE TIME to be in the Mount Rushmore of blink-182 songs – along with Feeling This, Dammit and What’s My Age Again?. See why with the new single and video below:
Bonus! blink are also streaming energetic new song MORE THAN YOU KNOW, which you can hear below right now:
A recent press release teased that ONE MORE TIME… features ‘17 new songs that capture the band at the top of their game, layering in themes of tragedy, triumph, and most importantly, brotherhood’.
Last month, Mark took to the blink-182 Discord to share that he’d given the LP a spin while out on a stroll in London and very much liked what he was hearing: “Last night I walked through Hyde Park listening to the new album and got so hyped.”
In July, while unveiling his new limited edition Stratocaster guitar, Tom said in a promotional video: “I still think we’re writing our best songs. I think our album coming out is probably our best album we’ve ever made.”
