It’s a busy time right now for Los Angeles pop-punks Beauty School Dropout, and they’re adding to the excitement with new single dying to be you.
Following a support slot with the reunited blink-182 over in the States, and ahead of their numerous UK shows with Maggie Lindemann and Stand Atlantic, plus a slot at Download Festival, the trio have shared a meaningful new tune – which is about their ‘struggles with mental health and a constant desire to be someone/something else’.
“As if that would make the problems go away,” they say. “The fact of the matter is life is a game where you have to play with the cards you were dealt and this song is the realisation of that truth.”
