Linkin Park announce 2026 European dates, including headlining Rock In Rio Lisbon
They’re still on the road in 2025, but Linkin Park are already lining up some big plans in Europe next summer…
It's not happening, you guys… but he does have a new project!
Former Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile has been pretty active on social media of late teasing a return to music, but it seemingly then turned into speculation that he was set to become Chester Bennington's replacement in Linkin Park.
Austin, who posted on his Instagram stories “It’s not over yet. The newest next chapter is coming…” and then a clip on his Instagram account of him performing with LP, sent the rumour mill into overdrive with fans linking the two – but he's now addressed the speculation.
"Chester is one in a billion," he tweeted. "There's no way myself or anyone else for that matter would ever be able to replace him. Performing Faint every night on our European tour together & festivals stateside, was one of the most special memories of my career. New project, yes. LP, no."
