“One of the funnest songs we’ve written”: As December Falls release track for Muse Dash video game

Listen to As December Falls’ dizzying new song Flametide, which is about a “pirate demon that escaped the hells and it’s on the run at sea” (and it’s just as fun as it sounds).

As December Falls have just dropped a new song for Muse Dash.

The Nottingham gang have teamed up with the rhythm game for ridiculously fun new tune Flametide, with singer Bethany Hunter enthusing that, “When we got the brief from Muse Dash to write the next theme song for their character Flametide Pirate Rin I knew we had to do it!

“The song is all about this pirate demon that escaped the hells and it’s on the run at sea. All the demons are still chasing trying to drag her back down to hell. Probably one of the funnest songs we’ve written and you can play it as a level on Muse Dash now!”

The song follows the pop-punks’ August album Everything’s On Fire But I’m Fine, which we awarded 4/5 and described as “rageful yet cathartic”.
