The big review: Outbreak Autumn 2024
Hardcore’s flagship event hosts a one-off October bonanza in Manchester, welcoming back fan favourites and ushering in new blood…
Hear Angel Du$t go “totally off the leash” as they kick off their next chapter with new tracks Very Aggressive and Love Slam.
The endlessly cool Angel Du$t are back with a new two-song single.
The Baltimore hardcore punks have today (May 2) shared new tracks Very Aggressive and Love Slam, as well as the promise that even more new stuff will be coming in 2023.
And for those who can’t wait, this is a promising sign of things to come, as frontman Justice Tripp explains of the band’s next chapter: “This was the first time I’ve ever produced our music myself. I think what’s important about that is the freedom to try anything you have in mind. Rock’n’roll is such a broad spectrum of music but I think sometimes people will focus in on just one thing. I wanted to try and represent a lot of different angles – all of the things Angel Du$t has been so far. It feels like we’re just totally off the leash.”
Of lead single Very Aggressive (featuring guest vocals from Citizen’s Mat Kerekes), Justice reveals that, “There’s this certain spirit I’m looking for in all music. I tried to capture a lot of different eras of rock music in this one song.”
