Avril Lavigne is going on a greatest hits tour in North America
Avril Lavigne is set to hit the road with All Time Low, Simple Plan, Royal & The Serpent and girlfriends for this year’s massive Greatest Hits Tour.
All Time Low will headline this year's Sad Summer Festival.
Last year, to fill the Warped Tour-shaped hole in our hearts, The Maine started the Sad Summer Festival, a day-long traveling pop-punk festival, taking Mayday Parade, State Champs and The Wonder Years out on its inaugural run. Now, Sad Summer Festival is back for its second year -- this time with Journeys as the presenting partner, and All Time Low as headliner.
The band will be performing with some other great pop-punk acts, too, of course: The Maine will return for a second year, with The Story So Far, Movements, Grayscale, Yours Truly and Destroy Boys also coming along for the ride.
The tour starts in Sacramento, California on July 17 and will make its way across the states, ending at The Rave in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 15.
“Rock'n'Roll summer camp just hits a little bit different when you’re with your friends,” All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth said. “This tour is going to be something special, something we’ve all been chasing. Can’t fucking wait.”
