Album review: Alien Weaponry – Te Rā
New Zealand metal trio Alien Weaponry get back to their roots, bloody roots on feral, anger-fuelled third album Te Rā.
Listen to Alien Weaponry reflect on the “shifting way we socialise today, and the impact it has on the human psyche” with their new single, 1000 Friends.
Alien Weaponry have unleashed a brand-new single and video, 1000 Friends.
The track is taken from the New Zealand trio’s forthcoming album Te Rā, which is due out on March 28 via Napalm Records and is teased as their ‘heaviest, most powerful and mature album to date’.
Speaking about Alien Weaponry’s newest banger, vocalist/guitarist Lewis Raharuhi de Jong explains that 1000 Friends “encapsulates the shifting way we socialise today, and the impact it has on the human psyche. We can often feel disconnected from the outside world.
“The human mind wasn’t built to comprehend the world we are currently living in,” Lewis stresses.
