Beach Slang split following allegations of "constant emotional, psychological and narcissistic abuse"
The family of Beach Slang frontman James Alex have posted a statement after former manager Charlie Lowe accused him of emotional abuse.
Spanish Love Songs, Beach Slang, Nova Twins and loads more brilliant bands have been added to this year's 2000trees line-up.
2000trees Festival has just added a whopping 36 new bands to their line-up – including Spanish Love Songs, Beach Slang and Nova Twins.
“The album of the year so far for me is Brave Faces Everyone by Spanish Love Songs, and this is closely followed by the brilliant The Deadbeat Bang of Heartbreak City by Beach Slang," says 2000trees booker James Scarlett. "Absolute bangers both of them and I can’t wait to hear these songs in the sunshine at Upcote Farm!”
The full list of newly-announced bands is: Beach Slang, Demob Happy, The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, Spanish Love Songs, Hundredth, Airways, Hotel Lux, Together Pangea, The Virginmarys, Haggard Cat, Fangclub, 68, Nova Twins, Ditz, Stake, Static Dress, Erica Freas, Delair the Liar, S.T. Manville, Chloe Moriondo, Bob Vylan, Bent Knee, Gatherers, Giver, Tom Jenkins, Harry Marshall, InTechnicolour, Grief Ritual, Superlove, Sapphire Blues, Lande Hekt, Katie Malco, Holiday Oscar, Non Canon, Zeb and Andrew Cushin.
These 36 additions join headliners Jimmy Eat World, plus the likes of Creeper, Boston Manor, Young Guns and Knocked Loose.
